About Giselle
Clinical Psychologist
Like you and everyone else, I’m human. Many wonderful and difficult experiences have shaped who I am. Through my training, I’ve learnt that there are many things I can do to make difficult times easier. Through my work, I get to share what I’ve learnt with others.
I grew up in Dunedin but have lived in Wellington for 30 years. I’ve been a clinical psychologist since 1999, after studying at Otago University and Victoria University of Wellington. I always wanted to be a psychologist even though I didn’t know exactly what psychologists did! Mostly I’ve worked in child and adolescent mental health services and private practice. I’ve also supervised psychologists and taught in Victoria University’s clinical psychology programme. I’m also a parent of two grown-up children.
I’m a qualified psychologist
- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (Victoria University of Wellington)
- Master of Science, Psychology (Victoria University of Wellington)
I’m a registered psychologist
I’m registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board for the clinical work I do in my practice
